Selfiee Box Office: Here’s The Daily Breakdown Of Akshay Kumar & Emraan Hashmi’s Disastrous Comedy!

Selfiee, starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, was one of the most anticipated films of the year, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment at the box office. The film, directed by Anees Bazmee, failed to impress the critics and the audience alike, and recorded one of the lowest openings for an Akshay Kumar starrer. The film opened with a dismal collection of Rs 2.60 crore on Friday, which was lower than Akshay's previous flop Shehzada. The film showed a slight growth on Saturday and collected Rs 3.75 crore, but it was not enough to save the film from sinking. On Sunday, the film witnessed a drop and earned Rs 3.25 crore, ending the first weekend with a total of Rs 9.60 crore.

The weekdays were even worse for Selfiee, as the film faced a massive fall and collected Rs 1.40 crore on Monday, Rs 1.10 crore on Tuesday and Rs 0.90 crore on Wednesday. On Thursday, the film added another Rs 0.75 crore to its kitty, taking its first week total to Rs 13.75 crore.

The film has been declared a disaster by trade analysts and is unlikely to recover its cost of production. The film also faced competition from Fast X, which released on Friday and earned Rs 26 crore in two days, surpassing Selfiee's lifetime collection.

Selfiee is a comedy film that revolves around two friends who are obsessed with taking selfies and get into trouble because of it. The film also stars Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde in pivotal roles.
