KBC 13: Pankaj Tripathi informs Amitabh Bachchan that thanks to his wife, he doesn't have to sleep at railway stops.

During his visit on Amitabh Bachchan's quiz program, Pankaj Tripathi spoke about his days of difficulty. While it took him eight years to gain his big break, the actor claims that his wife helped him get through the tough times.

“Pankaj Tripathi suffered for eight years before gaining his debut in Gangs of Wasseypur, despite delivering a series of remarkable performances. During his most recent appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati 13, the actor discussed his feud with Amitabh Bachchan.”

Pankaj claimed that, unlike other struggling performers, he was able to avoid sleeping at Andheri station thanks to his wife, Mridula Tripathi, in a clip from the KBC 13 episode published by Sony Television on Instagram. He went on to say that she was there for him while he looked for work.

“I arrived in Mumbai in 2004 and the film Gangs of Wasseypur was out in 2012.” No one knew what I was up to for eight years. When people now ask me, "How were your days of struggle?" I realize, "Oh, those were my trying days?" I had no idea it was a difficult moment at the time. I was unaware of the suffering because my wife taught children, our demands were restricted, we lived in a tiny house, and she earned money, so I was able to live comfortably. Pankaj told Amitabh, "Mere sangarsh mein, Andheri station pe sona nahi include hua unki wajah se" (Thanks to my wife, I didn't sleep at Andheri station during my days of hardship).
